Biography:
Douma is a major antagonist in the anime and manga series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is a high-ranking demon, holding the position of Upper Rank Two in the Twelve Kizuki, the elite group of demons serving directly under Muzan Kibutsuji.
Born into a family considered blessed due to his unusual silver eyes, Douma was worshipped as a living god. He lacked genuine empathy and emotions, viewing humans as mere sustenance for demons. He sees emotions and concepts like love and happiness as foreign and unfathomable, mimicking them to manipulate others.
Douma is responsible for the deaths of several prominent characters, including Kanae Kocho, Shinobu Kocho's older sister, and Kotoha Hashibira, Inosuke Hashibira's mother. He converted Kotoha to his cult before ultimately killing her when she attempted to escape. His Blood Demon Art revolves around manipulating ice and frost, making him a formidable opponent.
He is eventually defeated by Kanao Tsuyuri and Inosuke Hashibira through a coordinated effort that utilizes poison and his past actions against him. His death marks a significant turning point in the battle against Muzan.
